to make this page a public scrapbook, if you will. Quotes, pictures --
whatever it tickles your fancy to send.
Try to stay in the Science Fiction, Space, Technology subject area please.
Again, I reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason. Sorry.
Here are a few odds and sods to start with.

Now THIS is exciting!
Alan O'Reilly from Dublin, Ireland submits these photos of an object that
landed near his father and a friend in 1993. It was hot to the touch when
his dad picked it up. He claims it's weight is much heavier than it's mass
would suggest. If you would like more info regarding this object you can
contact Alan at : alan_o_reilly@hotmail.com

A
Drawing by my Friend Roger Williamson, presented to (and signed by) James
Doohan at a local appearance in '87. That year the only TV station that
carried ST TNG was threatening not to air season 2! Horros! Of course a
letter writing campaign saved the day! |
|
I
drew this pen and ink drawing of John "Q" DeLancie in his costume from
the pilot episode of TNG, commissioned by the local Trek Fan Club. Mr.
Delancie made a mall appearance in '92 at the request of the Club where
he graciously signed this copy for me. Some weeks later, Mr. DeLancie's
publicist called me (from L.A. I presume) and asked me to send some copies
of this drawing so that his client could autograph them at personal appearances.
I didn't hear from him again, darn it. |

I was
also commissioned to draw this 11x14 cartoon for the same occasion where
it was presented to Mr. DeLancie before an audience of hundreds and the
assembled press! Wow! Get the joke?

A friend
and fellow caricaturist recently scolded me for being "trek centric" on
my web site. Apparently her husband is a trekkie and she an "anti-trekkie".
Anyway, we both agreed that "Farscape" is among our favourite science fiction
TV shows, and she graciously submitted a drawing of the lead actor, Ben
Browder.
